Semper FiThe red horizon was beautiful. The sun was setting behind the hills and it gave the sky a crimson light. Each ray seemed to pierce through the few clouds in the sky. This light made the ruined buildings in what remained of the city to cast large shadows. Not a single sound could be heard as the sun set. There were no honking horns and no noise of traffic.
